Touchdown has the classic superior temperament and this along with a light charisma, brilliant gaits, very good rideability, and exceptional athletic abilities for dressage makes him a top choice as young sire. He has superior handleability and under saddle he is rideable, forward, sensitive, and honest.  He moves well with expression and elasticity in all his movements. The Swedish stallion evaluation committee said of him, "Touchdown has a good exterior, and is a well proportioned stallion. Performance-wise, he can help with gaits, correctness, and elasticity." Now competing in Grand Prix under the saddle of Patrick Kittel.

Touchdown is a stallion of international class. He was impressing in the arena even at a young age. As a foal, he attained an impressive score of 51/60 (85%) and was Reserve Champion Foal at the Riksfol Foal Championships in Flyinge. As a 3-year-old, he was awarded for his quality gaits and received a 10-10 under saddle in assessments for gaits, rideability, balance and temperament.  At his stallion performance test, he did well recieving a 141 (8.78).  Touchdown 1338 was the highest ranked stallion amongst all 3-5 year olds in all of the 70-days tests throughout Germany in 2015. He received seven 9's for interior, temperament, willingness to work, his walk, canter, and rideability. In addition, his jumping was scored high and he gained all eights in cross-country jumping. At 4 years of age, he attended the Breeder's Cup where he was placed 4th. Here Charlotte Dujardin gave him scores of 8.5 and 9, pointing out his willingness to work, go forward off her leg, ability to lengthen his stride, and stated she would gladly have him accompany her home.

Touchdown is out of one of Sweden's very best damlines with championship horses in both dressage and jumping. His mother, La' Mour is an Elite and Double Diploma mare scoring 50/60 (83.3%) in dressage and 49/60 (81.7%) in jumping, something achieved by very few mares in Sweden. Touchdown's granddam La Sanne is also an Elite predicated mare in Sweden.

Quaterback has proven to pair extremely well with Swedish mares resulting in young horses that are very successful in young horse classes and advanced tests. Quaterback has made quite a name for himself. He was top colt at the Vechta auction becoming 1c Premium at his stallion approval with a 10 for character, 9.5 for rideability, and 9s for temperament, walk, trot, and canter. Quaterback was also Bundeschampion as a 3-year-old, participated at the Bundeschampionat finals as a 5 and 6-year-old dressage horse, and placed 5th at the World Championships for 6-year-olds. In 2003, he won the VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year Award. He has 1st place wins in Grand Prix classes starting at 2004, and was won the World Cup B finals, culminating in a nomination for the Olympics at Athens.

Finally, rounding out the pedigree is none other than Bjorsell's Sack, a stallion very highly regarded in Sweden and he was successful as an international dressage competitor--competing at the Olympic Games at Athens in 2004. Great grandsire, Judex xx, adds in the necessary thoroughbred refining blood desired in warmblood breeding.
