Ogano is an extremely modern young stallion with excellent riding quality. He has stunning long-legs and he possesses many desired qualities for sport horse breeding. He presents himself cool and well-balanced under the saddle with a great awareness to the course and his rider.

In 2019 Ogano placed several times in 1.40m jumping classes, and ranked in the international Youngster-Tour at CSI Peelbergen (Kronenberg) CSI Balve and CSI Verden. In 2018, he built on the successes of the previous year and was placed in several Youngster classes on M* (1.30m) and M** (1.35m) level and received extraordinary marks. He qualified for the Bundeschampionat of the 6-year-old jumpers. Unfortunately, he was not allowed to compete at the Bundeschampionat as he is a Belgian and not a German warmblood.

In 2017, Ogano finished his stallion sport test as the best five-year-old with an extraordinary final score of 9.2. He shined with a 10.0 for his scope and his jumping manners received a 9.5. He finished as runner-up at his first show, second only to another Hof Sosath stallion, Casino Grande. Ogano's first crop of offspring were so extraordinary that he became Main Premium winner of the Oldenburg Stallion Days.

Oscar D by Ogano x Quantus bred by Patricia Duchac Training Stable was awarded as overall winner out of more than 80 participants with a score of 27.7 (technique 9.0, scope 9.5, overall impression 9.2).

Ogano's sire Ogano Sitte is one of the most famous sons of Darco. He was internationally successful with Philippe Lejune. Ogano Sitte is a top sire in Belgium and sired a majority of the offspring that participated in the French National Championship. His dam Ialta Sitte was internationally successful in showjumping as well, and his grand dam Gute Sitte was on the 1976 Belgium Olympic team which won bronze in Montreal that year. The most successful descendants of Ogano Sitte could arguably be Aganix du Seignor under Jos Lansink and Gaudi under Marcus Ehning and Ludger Beerbaum.

Ogano's dam sire Diarado was winner of the Holsteiner licensing, as well as, winner of the stallion performance test and to date Diardo has produced nearly 40 approved sons. The grand dam Harmonie XXXI by Cantus is the full sister to the approved and successful jumping horse Cyrano, ridden by Gerd Sosath, and the sport horse Capitano. This damline also produced Calato's Boy (1.50m), Clearwater (int. 1.60m), the licensed Le Quidam (int. 1.50m), the licensed Caressini (int. 1.50m), Al Capone (int. 1.50m), Celentano (int. 1.45m) and Concorde (1.40m) as well as many licensed stallions including Carnando.
