As a six-year-old, Lord Lohengrin was Hannoverian champion of the jumping horses, and in 2009, he was very successful at the German Showjumping Championships.

Following these early honors, he was successful in international championships with Karl Brocks, and now he is continuing his international career with Patrick Stühlmeyer. The pair has been racking up wins including the 2012 Gold Cup at the Munich Indoors.

Lord Lohengrin's sire, Lordanos, has an unparalleled character, extraordinary ridability and was an extremely talented show jumper. He has produced a very large number of incredibly successful offspring and he is regarded as one of the greatest sires in the world.

In 2013, Lordanos was named the top jumper sire in the United States by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).

Lordanos is a descendent of the famous and high profiled "Ramiro line" 776 and a guarantee for maximal inheritance of performance and talent. His sire, Landos, is one of the sons of the impressive stallion, Lord. On Lordanos' dam's side there is the very interesting blood of Calypso I and Capitano, and his dam's sire, Ahorn Z, comes from the international show jumpers Almé Z and Heureka and has also produced many top show jumping horses.

The bloodlines of the top Thoroughbred stallion, Cottage Son xx, are also very dominant in Lordanos.
