The thoughtfully bred dam line of Noria (Klausing, Diepholz) produced, among other the licensed stallions, Scolari by Sandro Hit, Fürst Rousseau by Rousseau, Dramatic by Don Frederico and His Highness by Hohenstein, the state premium mares Dynastie by De Niro (1a premium RNS 2002 and 1g premium BSS 2002) and Grace Kelly by Grenadier (LWS champion mare 1989, RNS 1985 and 1988 premium and BSS 1986 1d premium), as well as the Grand Prix horses Crip by Consul and Whisper (VA) by Wolkenstein II.

The full brother of Flanell, Fats Domino, is being schooled for major competition by European Team Champion Fabienne Lütkemeier.

In 2014, Flanell won and placed in riding horse tests. He finished his 30-day performance test with very good marks, including 8.63 points for rideability and 9.13 points for demeanor.  2015 brought about his first crop of foals and they convinced with the top movement and finest exterior. Flanell provided the champion filly of the Klosterhof foal show which was sold for 14,500 euros.  Flanell won a qualifying test for the German National Young Horse Championships and achieved two placings, and again his foals gained high prices at Klosterhof auction.

In 2017 Flanell himself qualified for the German National Young Horse Championships and placed twice at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.
