In 2019, for the first time, Fidertanz was ranked in the top ten of the 2019 WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking at #7. He also claimed the 17th spot on the the ranking for eventing sires!
Fidertanz became Champion Stallion of the North Rhine-Westphalian (NRW) stallion licensing, and the winner of his stallion performance test in 2005. In 2006 he became Vice Bundeschampion in Germany, and was named a Main Premium winner set new standards in the dressage ring early on. He has won many Prix St. Georges tests and earned top placements in Intermediare I under Marcus Gribbe. Fidertanz inherits his great character and his extraordinary movements. More than 400 offspring of Fidertanz are successful in sport, a fact that placed their sire again among the best rideability-sires of Germany according to FN's estimated breeding value statistic. They are attractive for their riding comfort and willingness to perform.
In addition to his own success in sport, Fidertanz's offspring have been sold for top prices at auction. He presented the winning colt at the German Foal Championships in 2008, and Fifty-Fifty, one of his daughters, was highly placed in Lienen in 2007. At the age of three, Fifty-Fifty became the Brilliant Ring Champion of the Elite Oldenburg Mare Show in Rastede. From his crop of foals in 2014, a colt out of a Sir Donnerhall dam stood especially out and was sold for the top price at the Southern German foal auction in Viernheim.
The 2013' Bundeschampion of young dressage horses, named QC Flamboyant OLD, placed again just ahead of Fideralala in the final in 2014 and, in the meantime, he made his debut at advanced (S) class under Isabell Werth. The licensed stallion Fürst Fohlenhof took the gold and silver medal at the Bundeschampionat 2013 and 2014 in the class for young riding horses. Fandango OLD and the multiple Oldenburg Champion Fiderbach OLD succeeded in the Warendorf finals four young dressage horses. Flanell was placed with the best in the final of the Hanoverian Championship for three-year old stallions. At the Oldenburg Championship, Fidertanz presented three champions, beside the licensed Fiderbach OLD there were two Brilliantring mares at the Elite Broodmare Show.
His son Foundation has been highly successful in breeding and sport. He completed his 14-day-test with high scores and has since proven himself by placing high in Grand Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I level. He also was named Main Premium stallion with an emphasis in dressage at Vechta.
More than 50 Fidertanz sons have been licensed, and many offspring placed in the finals of the Bundeschampionate. More than 100 Fidertanz offspring from his first crop of foals earned successes in riding and dressage horse ability competitions. Many of his offspring reached top prices at auctions. Fidertanz is by Fidermark I, who was the winner of his stallion performance test, a Bundeschampion, and developed into a Grand Prix winner who left the breeding stage at an early age. Grandsire, Ravallo, also won his performance test with an index of 155 (dressage 157.52 – 1st place, jumping 127.5 – 5th place).Frühlingstraum II is deemed one of the pillars of Wesphalian breeding and through Romadour II, Fidermark is inbred three times to founding stallion, Ramzes x. Fidertanz's dam, granddam and great granddam were State Premium mares and competed in final rings. This dam line of Astfläche has produced numerous licensed sons and many of their offspring are successful up to advanced level in sport.
