Diamant de Plaisir brings together two of the most significant stallions of the international sport, Diamant de Semilly and For Pleasure, in a successful young sport stallion.  He was the winner of his licensing for jumpers in Finland. He is very rideable and continuously shows his potential on the course. In 2015, he was the most used stallion in Finland and after returning to Germany he was licensed for Hanoverian and OS-International breeding.

Diamant de Plaisir has shown his abilities with good placings during the 2019 competition season in the international Youngster-tour.  With rider Holger Wulschner, he placed in several 1.40m and 1.45m classes and was successful in the Younster-tour of Neustadt-Dosse, Dortmund, Braunschweig and Bad Schwartau.  At the Youngster-tour at Horses and Dream in Hagen, the duo placed third in the 1.45 final.

In 2017, Diamant de Plaisir qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old jumping stallions and he won the qualification round at 9.0 and placed 7th in the final with 9.3.

In February 2016, Diamant de Plaisir completed his 50-days-test successfully in Adelheidsdorf, receiving the highest marks for jumping (scope 9.5, technique 8.5) and a final score of 8.6.  He won his first show in May 2016 and became the champion of four-year-old Hanoverian jumpers in August 2016 with an exceptional mark of 9.3. In 2017, Diamant de Plaisir qualified for the Bundeschampionship for five-year-old jumpers.  Here he won the first qualification with the best mark of the day, a 9.0, and later placed in the Big Final after an impressive first round.

His sire Diamant de Semilly is ranked number one on the international WBFSH-ranking as the most successful showjumping sire worldwide. This stallion won team-gold at the world championship in Spain in 2002 with Eric Levalloi. A year later, he became vice-European champion with his team in Donaueschingen and since has been awarded "Best Sire of Young Horses" in France several times.

Diamant de Plaisir's dam sire For Pleasure is number two in the international WBFSH-ranking. This stallion has won many titles with riders Lars Nieberg and Marcus Ehning.  These include; German Champion in 1995 and 2002, Olympia Team gold winner in 1996 and 2000, European Team champion in 1997, 1999 and 2003.  He also won Grand Prix and World Cup competitions.

His great-grandsire Landor S is one of the most important Landadel-sons and the father of many nationally and internationally successful sport horses like Blue Loyd (Cian O'Connor, third in the Olympic Games London 2012), Leoville (Philipp Weishaupt, Winner of the Global Champions Tour competition in Monte Carlo), Lobster (Abdullah Al Sharbatly), Lacapo (Alexander Hufenstuhl), Larry (Lauren Hunkin) and Lord G (Beezie Madden).
