Benefit has distinct traits which will no doubt have a positive, long-lasting affect on breeding and sport. This young stallion is an extraordinary addition to both Swedish and international breeds which are largely dominated by S and D blood. His modern type, ideal proportions and impressive movements are only some of his top qualitites. With his presence he wins everyone over and under the saddle he shows balance and a great attitude.
Benefit was named Champion Stallion at the 2017 Oldenburg licensing and also became the price highlight at auction selling for over 600,000 Euros. The Swedish stud farm Lövsta Stutteri bought Benefit as a hopeful horse for Swedish world-class rider, Tinne Vilhelmson, who is already winning Grand Prix classes with Benefit's grand sire, Benetton Dream.
In April 2018, Benefit won his 14-day stallion performance test in dressage in Schlieckau with a score of 8.66. Here he was also named best stallion with a total score of 8.40.
His sire Belantis was Vice-World champion as a six-year-old and is on his way to high levels of success with Isabell Werth. He is a descendant of Benetton Dream and the popular P-damline from Neustadt-Dosse (damline of the former world champion Poetin (by Sandro Hit)). Belantis was fourth in the Junior World Cup in 2014 with 9.26 points, and the year after became silver medalist with a final score 9.5. He was successful in 2016 with Isabell Werth and she sees him as a promising stallion for the future. Belantis also became "Master Stallion" at the German Masters in Stuttgart in 2017.
Grandsire Benetton Dream was German Champion himself as a three-year-old and left an outstanding crop in Germany, including Bon Coeur, before he was moved to Sweden. Benetton Dream is also damsire of the ruling world champion Don Martillo.
Benefit's pedigree has very a solid background. Benefit's dam Sam adds an interesting outcross to the German breeding. Her father, Sir Tender, succeeded in Prix-St.Georges-classes and is a son of Sion, out of a dam by Contender. In the third generation, we find Welton who combines the important stallions Weltmeyer and Akzent II, with Figaro and the Thoroughbred Manolete xx.
