Albarolo (Archived)
The first licensed son of the Trakehner Champion Herbstkönig: Albarolo, a large framed modern stallion, strongly formed by his high percentage of full blood. The wide chested, rectangular stallion captivates with his excellent neckline and lean shape. Albarolo possesses three excellent basic gaits with high action in the front legs.
Multiple champion Herbstkönig is seven years old and already at advanced dressage level. More and more, he is developing into an truly outstanding dressage horse.
Albarolo's highly valued dam, Acelya was champion mare of the central mare registration show in Rhineland Pfalz Saar in 2004. She belongs to the current champion family of this breeding association. She finished her mare performance test with a score of 8.4. This dam line has provided an unusual amount of advanced level dressage horses, such as Akelei, Alarm, Agatho and Antares. The grandsire on the mothers side, Polarion, was highly successful in Grand Prix sports, just like his famous father Van Deyk, who was successful with his rider Dorothee Schneider for years.
