Iberio

Iberio's sire Indigo is one of the most prominent sires of Baden-Württemberg and is an elite stallion. He combines Trakehner bloodlines on his sire's side of the best of Holstein performance blood on the dam's side. His dam Coco Chanell is sired by the good stallion Caletto I. She had placements in M class showjumping and is also the dam of Iberio's sister, Iberia CH, successful at M level. The grandam Murina produced two intermediate class showjumpers, La Badita by Aldato and Lombarico by Lombard, and their approved full brother, Landwind. Murina is a daughter of the great Anglo-Norman Furioso II. The great-grandam Rubina produced the intermediate showjumper Phoenix. The grey stallion Rubin, appears in the fourth generation. Rumian was a paternal half brother of the great Ramzes x, who established dynasties in Holstein and Westphalia.
Iberio was approved in Marbach in 1993. He won the stallion performance test in 1994, where was awarded the score of 10.0 three times, for performance ability, predisposition for showjumping and in the guest rider's score, putting him nearly 20 points ahead of the second placed competitor in the partial index for jumping. He was second in the rideability, out of 27 horses.
Iberio went on to begin a successful career in showjumping, winning numerous S level events and becoming a derby specialist. Ridden by Sören von Rönne, Iberio was second in the 2001 German Showjumping Derby, won the Derby in 2002, and was 11th and eighth respectively, on the world's most difficult course in 2003 and 2004.
Iberio's progeny display the anticipated predisposition for showjumping and have already had successes up to M class. His son Ideal was fourthat the Federal Championship of six-year-old dressage horses under Dr. Ulf Möller in 2004. HIs son Inliner passed his performance test as expected, with outstanding marks for his jumping ability, complemented with good gaits and excellent rideability. Inliner's jumping ability and his extraordinary hind leg technique allowed him to win a series of medium level show jumping tests for youngsters. At the young age of five he qualified for the German championships for young horses in Warendorf and became runner-up of the Hanoverian show jumpers with Eva Bitter.
