Edward--2023 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year

Edward is the youngest representative of the Espri-dynasty. Edward displays brilliant basic gaits, fantastic free jumping qualities and outstanding rideability for which the test riders awarded three times the highest score of 10 at his stallion performance test in 2008. The result was the highest overall score of all competitors of his age-group, highlighting the fantastic all-round potential of all Espri-progeny one more time. The stallion has a special magic: Singular Joter – Servus – Gotthard – Steinpilz xx on dam's side of the pedigree underline his show jumping qualities on the one side. Sampras by Singular Joter, Gingerino by Grannus, Acordia N by Acord II, Dasio VA by Daimyo xx, Agadir D by Alme or Carash by Calpyso II confirm this, too. And there is a tremendous ability for dressage on the other side.

In 2018, Edward won the Hanoverian Grande-Prize, an award honoring the hereditary accomplishments of the trademark stallion Grande.

Offspring from Edward's first crops of foals qualified for the Bundeschampionate in all three disciplines, dressage, show jumping and eventing. The Grande-Prize is an award that is linked with the hope that the honored stallion will sustainably improve the Hanoverian breed. Edward was described as a worthy winner.
