Diacontinus is the USEF # 2 Leading Eventing Sire of 2022

An all-rounder! Elasticity paired with limitless ability. Experts called it “playful ease” when Diacontinus demonstrated its skills in the past tournament season. At the age of seven, he was able to come up with a win and numerous placings, including international placements in the advanced class.

In terms of heredity, this large-framed gray leaves nothing to be desired. Approved sons and premium stallions are the result of his first crops. Among the numerous Hanoverian premium candidates from his first crop is the show jumping champion mare of the Herwart von der Decken-Show 2017. All in all, his offspring not only convince with outstanding ability and impeccable manner, but also shine with three outstanding basic gaits and a modern type.

In 2020, Diacontinus is in second place among the jumping stallions in the Germany-wide breeding value estimation with a breeding value for jumping of 156! This is due to his exceptional quality as an athlete and sire, as well as the achievements of his offspring.Due to his athleticism and above-average sire qualities, Diacontinus is one of the top sellers at the Celle State Stud!

Diacontinus is becoming well known as a sire of hunters in the US.

Diacontinus' dam line is well known for producing talented jumpers. Licensed stallions and successful sporthorses like the Celle stallion, Perpignon, stem from this line. Diacontinus' full sister, Diarada KJ, attracted attention early as a high priced auction foal, and as a four year old, she won the Herwart von der Decken show as the best jumper mare earning her States Premium title.

Diacontinus' sire, Diarado, is currently one of the most popular jumping horse producers. Due to the French blood of his sire, Diamant de Semilly, Diarado created new opportunities for the German show jumper breeding, and he has delivered show jumpers of the very best quality.

When asked what Hanoverian stallion looked the most promising during a 2019 interview with The Horse Magazine, Dr. Ludwig Christmann of the Hanoverian Verband said, "On the breeding values, Diacontinus is the highest ranked of the new stallions. He is by Diarado, but he is a different type from Diarado and he has produced very good foals..."
