Blue Hors Viconte has a pedigree which combines two of the strongest lines of performance stallions in the more recent history of dressage horse breeding. The combination of Vivaldi and Sandro Hit, both of which have competed at Intermediate-level alongside carrying out careers as active studs, gives Viconte the best of both the world of breeding and sport. He is out of the dam line that has several approved stallions and highly graded mares with his dam, Poetin II, being full-sister of the double bundeschampionat winner Poetin, who also won the World Championship for Young Horses as a six-year-old, as well as, was sold for an impressive 2.5 millions Euros. Viconte carries no less than three premium stallions in his bloodline and several Grand Prix and performance horses.

In 2020 Viconte passed his Stallion Performance test with a total of 8.44 points receiving a 9.50 for rideability with a foreign rider, an 8.50 for trot, 9.00 for canter, 7.00 for walk, 8.50 for rideability, 8.00 for jumping, 9.00 for interior, 9.00 for character and 9.00 for willingness to perform.

Viconte's dam line has been one of the most successful and productive in Germany during the last couple of decades. Approved stallions like Samba Hit I-V, Caprigold, Quaterback, Quaterhit, Quaterstern, Quinoa, Qualiano, Da Silva, Don Royal, Benedette Ragazzo and Fuerst Fontane are just a few. The legacy of this exact dam line got it's international breakthrough with the production of the Sandro Hit/Brentano-daughter Poetin II, who won gold at the World Championships for Young Horses as a five-year-old. Afterwards she was sold for a record price at the P.S.I. Auction, where she became the most expensive riding horse sold at the time. Poetin, the full-sister of Viconte's mother, has several awarded sisters and approved nephews. Viconte's grandmother and Elite mare Poesie is the dam of Samba Hit I-V and the grandmother of Quaterback and more.

Dam sire Sandro Hit has started a legendary new dynasty in dressage horse breeding is considered the founding stallion of Schockemoehle Stud. Since 2012, he has been part of the illustrious circle of the world's best dressage sires. In 2017 and 2018, he was second in the WBFSH ranking of the most successful dressage stallions, and has been placed third since 2019. Sandro Hit is himself a German national champion and World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses and has trained up to Grand Prix. In the dressage WBFSH world ranking, Sandro Hit was placed fourth in 2015. From 2010-2012 he won the USEF/Performance Horse Registry Leading Sire Award in the US as the best dressage sire.

The dam line has produced an incredible amount of successful sport horses all the way up to Grand Prix.
