In 2008 Hendrix placed up front in tests for young dressage horses under Steffen Frahm, proving that his Reserve Champion title at his stallion performance test in 2007 in Schlieckau was not just a fluke. There he clearly won the dressage index with a score of 130.15 and also received very high scores for his gaits, a 9.25 for rideability and an 8.5 for jumping. Hendrix was a premium stallion at the Southern German licensing. His sire His Highness racked up one highlight after the other: In 2002 he was the cheered Hanoverian Champion Stallion. In 2003 he won his stallion performance test with record scores and then became Champion Stallion in Denmark. In 2005 and 2006 he was a finalist at the Bundeschampionats. When he was six he immediately won medium (M/A) level dressage tests and by the time he was seven he had mastered advanced (S) level. 17 of his sons were licensed, including the Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test, Hampton. In 2007, His Highness left the breeding scene after a tragic accident that ended his young life. Hendrix' dam Raissa is the dam of another licensed stallion named Davinty (by Dacaprio) and St.Pr.St. Lisi (by Lauries Crusador xx). The dam's sire Regazzoni was trained up to advanced level and sired 13 licensed sons. The granddam Woliesel is a half-sister of the licensed stallion Beltain (by Bolero; Inter I), the advanced (S) level show jumper Woodney, the medium (M/A) level show jumper Wendig and of St.Pr.St. Wolke (all by Wendekreis), the latter of which is the dam of the licensed full brothers Wolkenstein I, II and III (all by Weltmeyer) and Lautenspieler (by Lauries Crusador xx) as well as the Grand Prix dressage horse, Little Big Man (by Lauries Crusador xx)/Falk Rosenbauer. This dam line is also known for the State Stud sires Garibaldi I and II as well as Brentano I and II and the Vice World Champion in dressage, Beauvalais/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP. Hendrix and Lord Laurie come from the same dam line that is maintained by Dr. Max Schulz in Stellenfleth.
