Florett As is deemed a guardian of the valuable Florestan bloodline. After he was licensed in 1999 in Münster-Handorf, he took his stallion performance test in 2000, at the same venue, finishing with the highest score for rideability and placing third overall. He soon obtained the bronze medal at the National Championships in the class for three-year old stallions. After he relocated to the Netherlands, he went on to place in advanced (S) level dressage.  After returning to Germany in 2007, he continued on with his success by adding several World Cup Freestyle winnings to his list of accomplishments, as well as, a silver in the 2012 Saarland Championships.

Among his most outstanding offspring, most of which were born in the Netherlands, are Verdades the Olympic team bronze winner and fourth individually, WC fifth individually, fourth in the World Cup and American Champion and American Champion under his rider Laura Graves.  He also produced  two other successful Grand Prix horses, Verdi de la Fazenda and Wild Dancer. Equirelle W took eighth place in the WC Final for young dressage horse in the class for seven-year olds in Ermelo/NED. Three of Florett As' sons were licensed, including a successful advanced (S) level show jumper named Floretts Boefke.

His sire, Florestan I, is among the world's top ten sires for rideability according to the WBFSH Ranking.

His dam Unforgettable, a daughter of the riding horse National Champion Urofino, and a winner in medium (M) level tests for young riding horses herself.

Unfortunately Florett As passed away on the Winter Solstice 2017, but his legacy lives on in Europe and the US.

"Florett As was a very fascinating stallion with a strong character. Thanks to his ability of collection and his strong will to work he provided an incredible feeling to the rider", Arlette Jasper-Kohl explains, who has had the pleasure of riding Florett As in the last years. "We will miss this extraordinary stallion very much."
