Flavio

flavio

Flavio was Reserve Champion 2005 of the NRW approval in Münster-Handorf. This striking, good-sized son of Florestan I is dryly formed and of very strong type. His gaits are of outstanding quality, always supple and elastic in their sequence. He also shows good quality over the jump. Florestan I, one of the most outstanding trademark stallions in modern day riding horse breeding, is joined with Westphalian performance bloodlines through Delphi, Feuerschein I, Dacapo, Frühlingstraum II and Remus I. Delphi was a high placed Bundeschampionat dressage horse and is meanwhile a winner at advanced level dressage and has won ribbons up to Prix St. George. His offspring in sport have achieved places in dressage and jumping up to medium level.  Feuerschein I (known for the Grand Prix dressage horses Fabienne/Isabell Werth and Flair/Holger Münstermann) along with Freudentänzer (known for the World Champion in dressage – Farbenfroh/Nadine Capellmann) are among the best sons of the famous Westphalian State Stud sire, Frühlingstraum II (known for Fire, Norbert Koof).  The dam line also produced numerous sport horses that have been successful up to medium or advanced level dressage.
