Beautifully shaped and equipped with dynamic, powerful movement and an above-average step, Fusionist delighted the Gernan State Stud and the expert audience at his licensing in 2020. Fusionist presented himself with a very confident gallop and an outstanding trot at his sports test in Verden. He scored were correspondingly high with a 9.5 for trot and a 9.0 for rideability and overall impression. The score for his canter was impressive at 8.7 and he received an 8.2 for his rythmic step. With a final score of 8.88, Fusionist was winner of the four-year-old tests.

A performance-oriented family stands in the background, whose namesake is the original mare Aslaug. Dam Evita has already produced three licensed stallions and five state premium mares. His sire Franklin is on everyone's lips and as a sire he is very popular throughout Europe and the US. Dressage and show jumping horses at an international level adorn the portfolio of this line including; the 2013 world champion of young dressage horses, Scara Boa, from the Pape stable, the former Celle state stud stallion Wandervogel I and II, Wandervogel III, who was successful up to Inter I, and Wandervogel IV was also a part of the dynasty and competed up to the Grand Prix under Heiner Schiergen.
