The extravagant premier stallion,
Donauwalzer, is an "improver" whose charisma drew an audience in Neumünster at his keuring. Type and noblesse are
combined with extraordinary movement and excellent jumping ability. His
sire, elite stallion Sixtus, is a winner in "S" jumping
competitions and was Stallion of the Year in 2001. Donauwalzer's dam,
SPS and premier mare, Donauflute II, comes from a rich tradition of
Oldenburg main stud farm family, Donna. Many extremely successful horses
owe their qualities to Donna. She is descended from a wonderful blending
of Habicht and Ibikus, being linebred to same on both her sire's and
dam's sides. The combination of these two prepotent lines is a guarantee
for performance and rideability, and a one-of-a-kind opportunity within
the Trakehner breed. Donauwalzer has achieved above average results in
events and tournaments, with many wins and placings in "L" and
"M" classes. He provided the winning filly and reserve stud
colt a a foal show at Medingen. At auction in Neumünster a daughter
sold for top price of the two year olds, at 50,000DM.
