Versace |
Versace,
full brother to Orlando, is a stallion endowed with modern sport type
and an excellent character. His sire Heartbreaker was first at four and
five years in the Classic
Cycle. Versace was first at his stallion test in Brussels in 1995. At
six years old he was ninth in the Championship of Belgium at Gesves and
sixth at the Championship of the World at Lanaken. At seven years
Versace was fourth in the Championship of the World at Lanaken. In
1997 he was third at the International in Oslo. In 1998 under the saddle of Peter Geerinck
he was third at the Grand Prix of Gesteren, Hamburg, Falsterbo and Amsterdam.
In 1999 he was fourth at the Grand Prix of Aachen and won the Championship of
Dormund.
His grandfather, Darco, has achieved many victories in Grand Prix under Ludo
Philippaerts. Darco has won the Cup of the World in London
and was classified sixth at the Cup of the World, Stockholm. Darco is the father of several international horses,
including Otterongo, Tornado, Parco, Padarco and others. Versace's great
grand sire Gibramino is the full brother of the famous
stallion Quastor. In
the fourth generation one finds the remarkable Thoroughbred Alcanar xx.
Versace's dam, Nefista van Ruiterboshoeve, has participated in the
Championship of Belgium at Gesves for five and six year olds and has achieved many
victories under Serge Stremeersch. Versace van de Ruitershoeve, has ranked respectively
third and fifth at the
championship of foals at Evergem and Oud-Everlee.
