Universum's Knock-Out
is currently the best colored showjumping stallion in
Germany, competing at Grade A internationally. Knock-Out was the
only colored stallion on the ZFDP's top 20 list for 2005,
where he placed tenth.
Knock-Out's sire, Nekoma, a
Puissance specialist, is the most well-known son of Ico and
had a lot of international show jumping successes with
Jürgen Kenn in Germany. Ico is sired by the Trakehner Marco
Polo, also a strong jumper. Luzi B. competed successfully in
M level dressage competitions. Her sire, Le Champion, was
bred according to the Holsteiner Performance Prescription,
and traces to Lord/Ladykiller xx in the second and third
generations. Luzi B´s dam, Baronin, a Holstein-branded
daughter by the Trakehner Donauwind, and out of a Hanoverian
mare. Luzi B's dam, Baronin was third at the German Championship in Munich
with Stefanie Baumann and afterward was very successful,
winning against tough competition at international level.
Universum's Knock-Out has twice qualified for and
participated in the Bundeschampionat. He has numerous wins
and places at M/A and S* levels in international showjumping
competitions in Germany. His lifetime earnings (FN) through
the end of July 2005 exceeded 3800 euros, with 19 wins and
places that year. In 2004 Knock-Out competed at M and S, GVA
with a total of 12 wins and places, including a third the
first time in grade S. In 2003 he competed in grade L
+ M, competing in Sögel (show jumping competition only for
graded stallions, where he was the only colored stallion,
where he placed 4th in grade L and 5th in grade M and
qualified for German Bundeschampionat. Knock-Out had 19 wins
and places the same year. In 2002 Knock-out began his
showjumping career in grade A + L, and grade M, grade GPF-A
3rd place, and qualified for German 'eventing'-Bundeschampionat.
He had 11 wins and places in his first year of competition.
