A special stallion who was the audience favorite at his Oldenburg keuring, and not just because of his vivid coat pattern. Special Design pleased with his energetic appearance, his tact and swing, and his precise, clean and evenly gymnastic movements. He was also convincing in his jumping manner, which is underlined by his performance oriented pedigree. Both his grandsires, Sandro and Prinz Oldenburg, were winners in Grand Prix jumping, and produced offspring which excelled in both jumping and dressage and furthermore have earnings of over 1 million DM. Another very good influence in his pedigree is the blood of the Trakehners Herzblatt and Grimsel.
