Sanyo

Sanyo--a colorful
change! This young stallion has been a
pleasant surprise–not just at his approval, but even before
that. This energetically moving pinto was auctioned by Uwe Heckmann at the Elite Foal Auction in Vechta in 2003,
where there was a hot duel involving several buyers. Two
years later and just licensed, he brought 110,000 Euro at
the stallion auction after the 2005 Oldenburg approval in Vechta,
the second highest price. You seldom find a painted horse of
this quality: a beautiful silhouette with pleasing
proportions, an elastic sequence of movement in all three
gaits that covers enormous ground, excellent jumping beyond
anything asked of him–plus an especially attractive color.
His
sire, Semper, was the 1997 Champion Stallion of the Pinto
Breeding Society. As a son of Sandro, an advance level
tested sire and grandson of the well-known and highly
successful pinto, Samber (dressage and jumping up to
advanced level), Semper has confirmed himself as a sire and
has already produced two licensed sons. Additional insurance
is added by the Pilot son, Pablo, as well as the Furioso II
son, Feingau, and the Oldenburg Champion Stallion, Admirand
(who also sired Fiorella Queen, the unforgotten price record
breaker of 1982 who sold for 200,000 DM). Along with the
striking color, they especially passed on riding horse
qualities. The solid Oldenburg dam line of Burgherrin
produced numerous sport horses for jumping and dressage up
to advanced level. |
