Born in Hanover, Rilke's sire, Ritual
belongs to Germany's most accomplished family of showjumpers. His
damsire, Wendekreis, has proven to be an excellent hereditary
transmitter of performance blood. Rilke's grandam is a full sister to
Wittelsback, and out of this damline come Glücksfall, Glückstaler I
and II, Goldrian, Ragtime, and Weltspiel, among others. Rilke was convincing at his stallion
performance test with an outstanding dressage score and a better than
average score for jumping. Rilke's rhythmical and elastic gaits win
dressage competitions and have qualified him for the Federal
Championship under the flag of Jo Hinnemann's stable. A quality stallion
with pedigree and performance genes. His foals have sold for top prices
at auction.
