Quintender is an athletically built horse with fast reactions, an enormous determination to succeed and an impressive competition track record. His perfect jumping technique earned him top places at many shows during the 2010 season, including Grand Prix classes and championships in Rastede, Dobrock, Munich and Hanover. He proved his international mettle at the Munich stage of the international Riders Tour and was one of the leading horses in the Gold Cup Championship at the age of only nine. At the German Classics in Hanover he was a prize winner in many classes. In fact, he and his rider Andreas Kreuzer were the show's most successful German duo.
Quintender produced the most expensive foal at auction in 2008, which sold for EUR 120,000, and the champion foal at the German Foal Championship in Lienen. In 2010, one of his offspring was awarded premium status at the Hanover licensing and his first foals are now competing successfully in show jumping classes for young horses.
Sire, Quinar, was also a successful international show jumper with Jos Lansink. He has produced 19 approved sons and more than 33 horses that compete in 1.50 m classes. Maternal grandsire Contender's progeny have collective lifetime earnings of more than EUR 6.2 million and include over 300 successful advanced show jumpers, making him one of the best show jumping sires in the world. Quintender's premium Holstein bloodline has also produced the approved stallions Cardenio, Cyranos, Leandro, Quinto de B, Capitalist, Colorit, Randi/John Whitaker and Franke Sloothaak's internationally successful show jumper Leonardo. Granddam B-Estelle produced Cardento, Peter Eriksson's Olympic team silver medal winner.Quintender is an international-calibre competition stallion |
