Quality. The name reflects
the program. Quality is a well-bred Holsteiner stallion with a
large outline and constant uphill movement. A showjumper with
heart and soul who toys with the demands made on him. Quality
absolved his 30-day test in Prussendorf in 2002 with top scores
between 9.0 and 10.0 in all the jumping criteria, whilst at the
same time displaying exceptional rideability. His sire Quinar is
a son of Quidam de Revel. Quinar experienced a meteoric rise in
his career following the most recent Holstein approval. The
stallion, who is stationed at the Zangersheide studfarm of Leon
Melchior, has presented two overwhelming premium stallions that
demonstrated a class of loose jumping that had for all intents
and purposes never been seen at the Holstein Hall in Neumünster
before. This was honoured by the absolutely sensational price of
€uro 400.000 for Quick Nick, whose dam, similar to that of
Quality, is a Lord granddaughter. Quality's dam Cordelia is a
daughter of the versatile hereditary transmitter Lantaan, who
landed an approval winner with Lucky Lionell and frequently
exerts a strong influence via good quality mares, as is the case
with Landor's champion stallion Lovis Corinth. Cordelia had
earlier already presented the approved stallions Legendär I and
II (both Schwaiganger state stallions). The same is true for the
granddam Pracht, who had given birth to the approved Lionell.
Quality represents the famous “Roman” line 1881, which
also brought forth the Nimmerdor sire Farn as well as the well
known hereditary transmitters Constant, Lagos, Ronald und
Quantum (by Quidam de Revel). |
