Non-Stop |
At his keuring, the Belgian Non-Stop achieved the
highest score for free jumping of 27/30. As a four year old he was first in
the Classic Cycle. At five he was successful at the world championships at
Zangersheide and at six was sixth in the St. Lo in France. Since 1997 he has
been ridden by Nelson Pessoa and was seventh in Ascona, Italy. He was first
and second in the qualifying rounds of the prestigious Hamburg Jumping Derby.
In 2000 Non-Stop took a break for breeding duties and his oldest offspring are
now seven years of age, and performing with great ability. With a sire index
in jumping of 183.4, Non-Stop appears poised
for a stellar career as a sire. This young jumping horse and leading sire,
is third on the list of the ten best sires of jumping horses, based upon sire production indexes. When one considers the linebreeding to Ladykiller xx,
Cottage Son xx and Der Lowe xx which inundate the pedigree with the very best
of sport horse blood, it should be no surprise. His Belgian sire
Darco, a grandson of Lugano, is a well-respected international-caliber sire. Non-Stop's
dam is rich in top Holsteiner jumping blood, including Lord and Cor de la
Bryere, who are her two grandsires.
