Las Casas |
A very striking young stallion who
was among the premium stallions at the 2000 NRW approval in Münster-Handorf.
The values of a fascinating type combined with a supple sequence of
movements that ripple through his whole body. He has the finest of technique at
the fence (he's equipped with lightening-fast legs), is round as a ball and
is overflowing with talent. His sire, Lancer II, was an approval winner in
Holstein and is considered one of the most significant sons of Landgraf I--a
"stallion of the century." As practically no other stallion, he
passes on the "look" of his sire's side, coupled with the
typical performance characteristics. The dam's sire, Ramiro, was an
international jumper himself who sired more than 70 approved sons who are
spread around the world, and numerous jumpers that have reached the
Olympics (among others, Ratina Z). Millers Grey xx in the third generation
has added steel-hard Thoroughbred bloodlines, behind which are the Dutch
stallions Bonaparte and Utopia. Lancer Lady, a full sister of Las Casas,
was placed in many medium level tests for jumpers in the year 2000 when
she was only five. Three half-brothers and/or sisters have placed in
Holland in Z level jumping (equivalent to advanced level). Las Casas
passed his 30 day test in Vechta in 2001 with above average scores in all
areas.
