Kodaly 

Kodaly is a pure Rumanian-bred Shagya stallion possessing the bloodlines of horses such as Koyano, Kamar and Kamour. Kodaly passed his stallion inspection in 1999 at Aachen. He is the only approved Shagya who does not carry the blood of Gazal VII, making him an excellent outcross for all Shagya mares, and also of great interest to Trakehner breeders. He has excellent movement and good ability at the jump. Kodaly completed the 3-day stallion performance test for Shagyas, "Turniersport-Hengstleistungspruefung." The test is the same as the one performed at Babolna Stud. The stallions must jump, do a dressage test and do two distance events, one with jumps and one without. They are ridden once in each event by their own riders and twice more in each event by two other riders.
