Key West is a wonderful model of a Trakehner, springing from 50% Anglo Arab blood of superb quality. This should be of particular interest to Trakehner breeders, as Arab or Thoroubred blood is the only way to widen the Trakehner gene pool. Key West's sire, Stradivari, victiorious in "M" level jumping, is out of the elite mare Schwalbenburg. Key West's dam, the premium mare, Kateja, is sired by the phenomenal jumping horse and sire, Inschallah. Nithard AA appears twice in the pedigree. Ibikus and Mahagoni in the are likewise influences for strong dressage and performance capabilities. Key West is a full brother to K-2, champion of the Trakehner stallion selection at Neumünster, 2001. Key West has several victories in jumping horse examinations and up to the class"M/A." A foal from his first crop won the Foal Show at Klosterhof Medingen. Here is a young stallion of exceptional promise. Though Key West died in 2007, his frozen semen is still available.
