Idolatre |
Idolatre's sire, Pot d'Or xx, was a flat and steeplechase racer from two
until six years. At two he ran two flat races which included a second
place in the Gris Perle prize in Saint-Cloud, and 17 steeple chases in
Auteui, with eight victories and four places in the Prox Galafron and
the Prox Amadore with fences, in the Prix Kargal, the Prix Fusihama, the
Jean Stern and the Grand Steeple Chase for four year olds, the
Millionaire II and the Grand Steeple Chase of Paris in 1971. Total
winnings 1,068,000 FF in steeple chasing. Pot
d'Or xx's sire, Buission d'Or xx, was winner of the Prix Daru and the
Royal Oak, third in the Paris Grand Prix and fourth in the Prix Arc de
Triomphe, and has produced more than 300 flat racing winners and various
winners of steeple chases. Furthermore he is the sire of Le Reve,
who together with J-Y-Touzain is a member of the French CCIO-team. In
1973 Pot d'Or was in the stud-farm of Saint-Lô, he is the sire of
various racing and show jumping winners: in 1985 he was ranked third in
the AQPS sire show jumping competition raking; fourth in 1983 and 1984 ;
tenth in 1981. In dressage he was 8th in the sire ranking in 1983
and 1985. He is the sire of (among others) Idole Des Loges IDR
149, Kergolene (Orfin III), Jet de la Vesquerie, ... in CSO, Jiji de
Cavron, Idole des Loges, Incassable, Issanka, Joyeux Vents, Jasmin du
Tot (first Great Criterion for 6-year-olds), Liane d'Or, Lingere,
Laurier Rose V, Labelleterie (big winner in CSIO with M. Robert), Miss
d'Inconville, Micmax II, Polack II, Pomme d'Or. Besides this he is
also the sire of national stallions such as In Chala A, Jasmin, L. De La
Vesquerie, Ospide, Obligeant and Oceanic. Idolatre's
dam Beaute is a daughter of the renowned Thoroughbred Rantzau xx, who in
turn was the sire of various stallions such as Kalamiste, Phoenix,
Venutard, Calmard du Poncel, Nez de Cuire, Prince, Quelqu'un, the German
breeding figure head Cor de la Bryere, and many international winners
such as Pacha du Bourg, Medrano, Nageur, Sire du Logis, Prince Charmand
B, Labrador C, Echo de Cavron ISO 175, Graine D Oria ISO 168. Idolatre
was winner in over 20 major trials and more than 100 rostrum places in
European tournaments, with his rider Stanny Van Paesschen.
