Friedensfürst

A large framed and character-strong Trakehner with elegance and zip. His sire, Rondo, stallion performance test winner in his day, is one of the most performance-strong Trakehner stallions, producing numerous offspring successful in jumping and dressage up to advanced level. His dam's sire, Gelria, had a strong influence on Friedensfürst's appearance. Gelria can look back on many approved sons, state premium mares, and high-priced auction horses. Friedensfürst is a distinctly modern type of sire with a high rideability value, along with outstanding, forward, up and out movements that cover a lot of ground. He passed his performance test with an excellent score of 126.99 points (132.18 points for rideability). In 1999, Friedensfürst was just barely beaten, becoming Reserve Champion at the Nürnberger Burgpokal. The year 2000, under Lisa Wilcox, brought a series of wins up to Intermediare I. His good-sized, good-moving foals have a conspicuously sporty look.
