De Noir is a stallion
who typifies the modern, elegant sport horse stallion. His
consolidated dressage bloodlines are a guarantee for
success. His sire, De Niro has a dressage index of 151,
grandsire Donnerhall's index is 158, and maternal grandsire
Matcho AA has a dressage index of 134. De Noir was the
champion of his Danish approval in 2003, and also won the
30-day, 70-day and 100-day performance tests in both
dressage and overall. He is the sire of the Danish Warmblood
Filly of the Year, 2004, and the Foal of the Year in
Hannover, 2005. German breeders are clamoring for
Hanoverian-branded foals by De Noir to send to the Verden
stallion approvals. In 2006
De Noir had ten 2 year old mares at the final elite show. In
2007 he had his first graded son and 20 offspring at the
elite show. Fourteen of his 3 year old mares were invited
and they all received medals. De Noir is free from OCD
Grading description:
Suitable size, noble elegant stallion of extremely good
type. Expressive head. Well set, well formed, long neck.
Long shoulder. Well marked, medium-long withers. Good and
lithe topline. Well-formed croup. Legs correct in
conformation and dry, short pasterns in front. Well-formed
hooves behind. Movements extremely good in walk, extremely
good and lithe in trot and extremely good with good carry in
canter. 9-9-8-9-7-8-8-9-9-9.
Material description:
Very polite and a real stallion in the stall. Energetic with
an extremely good temper and good character. Works extremely
willingly and bright with extremely good walk and canter,
but lacks push in trot. Dressage potential is extremely good
and the stallion is very rideable. Jumps below medium and
with lack of technique and capacity. This stallion developed
positively during the test. Show abilities are extremely
