Germany has "Cornet fever". Seldom have the decisions that fall at the Bundeschampionat for German show jumpers weighed so heavily on the offspring
of just one stallion which was the case for Cornet Obolensky in 2008 in the class for five-year olds. Several Champion Stallions and champion show jumpers are now on record for this gray stallion who participated in the Hong Kong Olympic Games as a member of the German team and was ridden by Marco Kutscher. Cornet’s Prinz's dam line is from Almox Prints who placed in the Grand Prix of Aachen and participated in several Olympic Games. And, of course, the history of show jumping would be unthinkable without Polydor and Grannus (sire of Grannuse) because of their countless outstanding offspring – all international performance makers joined in a stallion who personifies the ideal of our breeding philosophy. |
