Cordalmé
Z |
He jumps like a rubber
ball. Cordalmé Z has had a great influence on German show jumping
and was short-listed for the '96 Olympic Games. He was a premium
stallion in 1988 and 1990. His sire, Cor de la
Bryère, represents the best jumping attributes and his sons share his
ability to pass on dominant genetics for success in the sport. Cordalmé
Z's dam, Aleska Z, has two other approved sons, Royal Z, who was the
first champion stallion of the 1987 Danish stallion performance test,
and Royal II was was second vice-champion of the 1988 approval in
Herning, vouching for the prepotency of this dam line. Aleska Z also
produced the mare Rolanda by Roland, who has had many international
successes since 1994. She won the Rastede Grand Prix, the
tournament of champions in Münster, Aix la, Chapelle, Geesteren,
Berlin, the World Cup show jumping competition in Millstreet, Ireland
and the city of Frankfurt competition. Cordalmé Z himself was i.a.
winner of the Falsterbo, Sweden Nation's Cup, highly placed in the Grand
Prix' of Modena, Italy, Barcelona, Spain and the German Masters in
Stuttgart. He was third in the North-Rhine Westphalian Grand Prix
in Aix la Chapelle and second in the finals of the German Classics in
Bremen. After an initial indication of his prepotency through Cordijan,
Cordalmé Z made his international breakthrough in 2000--when he
produced two horses for the Sydney Olympic Games, Clawaro and
Careful.
