Conthargos combines first-rate genes with stylish conformation and an exemplary show jumping talent. In 2008, despite strong competition, he impressively won the Dobrock Show Jumping Championship with a high score of 9.5 after previously winning novice show jumping classes at other shows with scores of up to 9.0. He then continued his career by qualifying for the Bundeschampionat. Conthargos' sire, Converter, won 22 novice horse classes up to 1.30 m level, was Oldenburg Regional Champion in 2005, qualified for the Bundeschampionat and was runner-up show jumping stallion at the World Championships for young horses in Lanaken, Belgium. His oldest offspring were six years old and competing successfully in novice horse show jumping classes up to 1.30 m in 2010. Their competition winnings to date are EUR 23,000. Maternal grandsire, Carthago Z, demonstrated his quality in 1996 at the Olympic Games in Atlanta and he has produced numerous top competition horses over the years. 242 of his offspring compete successfully at 1.50 m level and their collective competition winnings are EUR 3.25 million. Conthargos' first foals are all exceptional types with athletic builds and wonderful presence. They fully meet every expectation. Conthargos’ pedigree is optimally rounded off with Latus and Sandro.
