Chamberland's career began when he was declared the best jumper stallion at the Oldenburg licensing. His next steps up the ladder gave further grounds for high hopes: With a score of 9.06 in jumping at his 30-day test, he couldn't help but draw attention and he finished his stallion performance test in Neustadt as the overall winner. He also received top scores for his canter and character. His sire, Chambertin, who is also the sire of the 2008 Olympic Game winner, Cedric/ Laura Kraut (USA), and Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst's evergreen, Chacco Blue, has climbed the World Breeding Federation's world ranking list to the 28th spot.
Chamberland's half-brother on his dam's side, the licensed stallion, Light on, successfully competed in the 2008 Bundeschampionat as well as the World Championships for young show jumpers in Lanaken and his rider, René Tebbel, admitted, "My goal with this horse are the Olympic Games 2012."
Several stallions from this originally Westphalian dam line, some of which have reached advanced (S) level (including Balou du Rouet), underscore the well consolidated dam line of our promising youngster. His first foals are due in 2010.
