This stallion is one of the upcoming names for top-breeding. With a breeding index of 134 he is ranked third in the top Holstein stallions.
The excellent and confirmed breeding genes come from the Holstein mare stem 18a 2. Casillas’ direct mother line already produced highly successful breeding and sport horses: for example Lennon, Leonardo I + II, Catwalk (Withaker/GB), Mien Jung (P. Hoff), Arturo Jun. (C. Ahlmann) and the internationally successful Marmor (P. Mohr), who unfortunately passed away much too early.
Casillas, who is a premium sire in multiple breeding societies, shows extraordinary achievements. At his stallion performance test in Marbach, he won with a jumping index of 140,8 with a large margin in a strong age group. In 2010, he had multiple victories in tournaments, and was especially strong in jumping competitions (L-M). Amongst other successes, he qualified twice for the Bundeschampionate under his rider Michael Ziems. Due to the fantastic presentation of his first crop of foals, the approval stations in the different breeding areas are very excited to meet Cassilas’ offspring. |
