Bailamos Biolley

Bailamos Biolley
Winner of the 30-Day Test 2010

Unbelievably beautifully shaped, clever and supple, this finely lined young stallion pranced right into the hearts of the viewers at the 2009 Oldenburg Hengst-Tage in Vechta and would certainly have played a leading role in the premium ring if he had had an Oldenburg brand. First class gaits, smart jumping, and first class scores for rideability make this youngster very special. He did an excellent job at his 30-Day test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2010. With absolutely top scores for character (9.0), walk (9.5) and rideability (9.0), he was the overall winner (8.36) and also the winner of the dressage index by a clear margin (8.81).

His sire, Sir Donnerhall I, attracted success like a magnet even as a youngster. He was the 2nd Reserve Champion of the 2003 Oldenburg licensing in Vechta and then won his 70-day test in Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with a record dressage index of 163 points. After winning the title at the Oldenburg State Championships in 2005, he won a qualifier for the 2006 World Championships of young dressage horses in Verden with a 9.2, took the Vice World Champion title and, a short time later, became Bundeschampion of five-year old dressage horses. In the meantime, more than 30 of Sir Donnerhall I's sons have been licensed. His dam, Dolce-Vita-Biolley, is by Florestan I. This stallion won the Rhineland licensing and is presently the number one stallion at the NRW State Stud Warendorf.

Further Information:

Bailamos Biolley impressively proves just how important well bred performance lines are for dressage horse breeding. The Holstein stallion Codex (by Carthago-Cor de la Bryère) who breeds in Belgium was awarded Elite Stallion status. In the fourth generation you find the Landgraf I-Gotthard son, Landadel, who was also highly influential in Belgium. The pedigree is rounded off by the internationally esteemed Thoroughbred stallion, Alcanar xx, and the Hanoverian mare Tamara, bred in Belgium, whose dam line is based on Sudan xx
