Rock'n Roll Semilly comes from two excellent SF bloodlines: Diamant de Semilly and Apache d'Adriers with Oriele de La Mare, the 6 yr. old French Champion, as his grand dam! Full of energy, showing a lot of strength, an excellent jumping technique, and a very good temperament, this endowed stallion has already proven his talent by being crowned champion of France of the 4 yr. olds and champion of France of the 6 yr. olds.
2012: Rock'n Roll had a fantastic season for a 7 yr. old. He won his first GP140 in Les Pieux and was 3rd in the GP140 in Villedieu, He also won the 7 yr old GP in Deauville, was 2nd in the GP130 and was ranked in the top ten in numerous other shows. After a great season, he was unfortunately injured during flat work, cutting his back leg and was not able to participate to the French 7 yr. old finals.
2011: Rock'n Roll made a great come back in the 6 yr. old classes with ease! He was placed 7th in Auvers and had clear rounds regularly. He qualified easily for the French Championships and was the champion of France for the 6 yr. old stallions! It was a beautiful reward for this gifted showjumper, and for all the breeders who have trusted him since the beginning of his stallion career.
2010: Rock'n Roll was operated on for an inguinal hernia at the end of February 2010 so he couldn't compete as a 5 yr. old.
2009: Rock'n Roll had a great showjumping season in the 4 yr. old classes and finished as the 4 yr. old champion of Normandy. He was also the champion of France for the 4 yr. old stallions out of more than 200 horses, and he was ranked " Elite"!
With 14 out of 14 clear rounds he had a perfect showjumping season, combined with an exceptional breeding season for a 4 yr. old with more than 330 mares covered!
2008: Approved SF at the French 3 yr. old stallion championships. His qualities were unanimously appreciated by the jury of the stallion test in December, and he was one the most respected stallions of this event.
Diamant de Semilly is a son of Le Tot de Semilly, one of the best sires in the world and a famous international jumper. Diamant de Semilly was victorious at CSIO and CSIW shows and his successes include being the 2002 French national champion, as well as a team world champion and placing 9th individually at the 2002 WEG in Jerez, Spain. In 2003, he was a member of the silver medal winning French team at the European Championships. He was also ranked 9th on the list of top show jumping sires in the world by the WBFSH in 2013.
Rock'n Roll's dam, La Mare, is a daughter of Apache d'Adriers, CSIO winner and excellent sire of successful jumpers like Kapitol d'Argonne who competed in the 2006 World Championships for Italy, Idem de B'Neville who earned 208,411 euros in 2008, Madame Pompadour, Kanthaka de Petra, and Karl de Lusse among others. After have being tested at 4, ISO 113, La Mare, has been used as a broodmare producing very good showjumpers herself.
Rock'n Roll's grand dam, Oriele de la Mare, was the 6 yr. old French champion in 1986 with Eric Navet and then proved her potential at the highest level (ISO 150), before being used as a broodmare producing excellent sport horses.
