The premium stallion Franziskus had already started his career by winning a German Foal Championship qualification, and two years later at the 2010 North Rhine Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf, Franziskus fascinated the public. The excitement of everyone at the licensing was validated in 2012 at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf where Franziskus was crowned the champion of the 4 year old stallions. He received a 9 for his canter, an 8.5 for his training and development, an almost perfect score of 19.5 from the two guest riders, Anja Rjetbrock and Uta Graef.

Franziskus was actively showing with renowned Olympic rider Ingrid Klimke in CDI4* Grand Prix competitions throughout 2017, 2018 and 2019. Starting off with a bang, the duo won their first ever CDI4* GP in Muenchen in 2017 and continued on with many placings.  Two 3rd places in 2018 in Weisbaden were followed by over a dozen more successful, prize winning competitions in Germany.

Franziskus is an excellent type with naturally uphill conformation. A first class proportioning of the body with sufficient harmony and correctness predestine this stallion for a brilliant future in competitive dressage. He has three excellent basic paces: a perfect walk, a dynamic trot and a fantastic uphill canter. These excellent gaits were also noted in 2011 when he won the 30 Day Münster-Handorf Stallion Performance test with an outstanding dressage score of 8.40 and an overall of 8.37.

Franziskus' sire, Fidertanz, started his phenomenal career in the year 2004 as NRW champion stallion in Münster-Handorf. In 2005, Fidertanz won his 30-day-test in Neustadt/Dosse with top results and became Vice Bundeschampion with a top score of 9.5 from the guest rider. In the year 2006, he received the Main Premium award for the 4 yr. old dressage stallions at the Oldenburg-licensing in Vechta. Since then, Fidertanz has been trained up to the advanced level in dressage and ranked #7 on the 2019 WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking.

Franziskus' dam, Antara, produced the licensed stallion Dementi (De Niro), who is successful at the advanced dressage level. The dam's sire is the former Bundeschampion of German dressage horses, Alabaster. The third and fourth generation of the pedigree is refined by the internationally successful top-stallions Rubinstein I and Grundstein I. The dam line is based on the Irish thoroughbred-mare Daffy Toban xx (v. Go Tabann xx-Mustang xx-Flamenco xx etc,, thoroughbred-familiy 2). This line has been developed since the mid 1970's by the breeding family Albers, and some of the stallions out of this line are Count on Me (PB Denmark), Grafenstein (PB Oldenburg, State Stud Redefin and Marbach), Winston (PB Hannover, State Stud Celle), as well as the international sport horses Grand Giraud ridden by Alexandra Simons-de Ridder, and Calman, who won the "Golden Whip" in Nörten-Hardenberg under the saddle of Rolf Moormann.
