Descadero excels with distinguised movement and an impressive pedigree. With stunning movement dynamics of his sire Danone I, Descadero rouses judges and spectators alike with wonderful high front leg mechanics and skilled steps coupled with the laquered beauty of his coat. Hohenstein as his dam sire, and the back crossover of Donnerschwee on the D blood combined with the Trakehner Patras dam line, round off Descadero's pedigree perfectly.

Mother Holli Do comes from the Hanoverian mares of the downhill who have brought along more than 200 successful sporthorses, along with five licensed stallions and 19 national prizes. Among these are Waldano, who is successful in 4 * versatility tests under the Belgian Julien Despontin and Grand Prix winner Wilson of Wanderbursch II.

In 2016 Descadero finished his 14-day test in Adelheidsdorf with a dressage accentuated final score of 8.11 points and in an independant test rider assessment his rideability was rated with 9.25 points.  In Schlieckau he finished the exam for licensed stallions with an overall score of 8.3.
