At the Top of the show jumping world scene with Markus Ehning, Copin van de Broy is a strong stallion worthy of his famous sire Darco. He has a great future ahead him!

2012: Under Markus Henning, he won the Grand Prix CSI3* of Hardenberg (cf. jump-off) and the Nations Cups of Rome CSIO5* and Rotterdam CSIO5*. He was 2nd in a 1,50m class in Hannover CSI3*, 3rd in a 1,60m class in Paris CSI5*, and placed in the top ten of many CSI 4 and 5 star shows including being 9th in the Grand Prix at the Aachen CSIO5*.

2011: At 9 years old, Copin burst onto the show jumping scene and was selected for the European Championships. He won the World Cup Grand Prix in the Mechelen CSI5*, and was the winner of the Sires of the World in Mechelen CSI5*. He was 2nd in the GP of Ascona CSI3*, 3rd in the Nations Cup in Dublin CSIO, 4th in the Liège CSI4* GP, 4th in Rotterdam CSIO5* Nations Cup, and was highly placed in many other CSI5* shows.

2010: Copin had excellent results for his debut on the international scene. He won the Welkenraedt CSI2* Grand Prix, the Bratislava CSIO3* Nations Cup, a 1,45m class in Wiener Neustadt CSI3*, the 7/8 yr. old Nantes CSI3*,  and placed in the top ten in numerous CSI 2-5 star shows including placing 10th in the Belgium Championships.

Copin van de Broy's sire, Darco was a phenomenal international jumper and is one of the best sires in the world. He won many World Cup qualifiers and was placed 7th individually at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, and as a sire he was ranked 3rd on the 2012 WBFSH list of the top jumper sires of the world. He produced the renown jumpers, Sapphire (6th at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 7th at the WEG in Aachen) and Trudo King Darco (participant in the 2000 Atlanta Olympic Games, Belgium Champion and 5th at the St. Gall European Championships), as well as many approved stallions and numerous other successful national and international jumpers.

Copin's dam line has also successfully produced many jumpers. His great granddam, Calmeo, was sired by Alme who is the sire of many top jumpers such as Galoubet A, Jalisco B, Aérobic Z, Artos Z, Athlet Z, Animo, Ahorn, Almé Star, and Zalmé.

Copin began breeding in Belgium in 2005 and in France in 2011. Despite the low number of mares he covered at the beginning, the quality of his offspring has already been proven through horses such as Aparte de Bioagrico, Artemis du Mabiet (2010 4 yr.old champion of Belgium), Bonaparte vp Wisbecq (USA), Dino van de Kapel and Carolus van de Kapel of the 4 yr. old Belgium 2010 Championships, the stallion Cannonball du Toultia Z , Challenger du Toultia Z (ISO 110), Cheri de Papignies  (ISO 114), Chopin du Château Hollogne Z (winner of the 2012 belgium 4 yr. old classic tour), and the stallion Come Back Z (2012 champion of Belgium) among many others.
