Blue Hors First Choice is a fantastic stallion with an exceptional personality and top level rideability. First Choice won the qualifier for the Young Horse Championships in Middelfart with 9.52 points, and in the preliminary round of the finals he became vice champion with a score of 9.48 points. Again in 2015 Blue Hors First Choice qualified for the finals in Odense.

His pedigree is unique as he is a product of the world's leading dressage producers Jazz and Negro and his dam line is also notable. His sire Jazz produced many Grand Prix- horses, including Parzival, World Cup winner, Olympic silver medallist and three-time European champion.

Three generations of Blue Hors First Choice dam line are elite mares at the KWPM.  His dam, the elite mare Vurona was successful at intermediate level in the Netherlands. She produced no less than six offspring for the foal auctions in Borculo and in 2012, and one of her foals became the most expensive foals at the Borculo Foal Auction and sold for 40,000 Euros. This foal, High Five U.S., is now KWPN licensed and placed 2nd in the 2015 Ermelo performance test.

Vurona is a daughter of Negro who is a sought-after stallion and has sired the current European Champion, World Champion, World Cup winner and double Olympic gold medalist from London 2012, Valegro, with British Charlotte Dujardin in the saddle.
